Luckily the desk survived the trip via UPS freight undamaged, luckily. I do think the packaging could use a little beefing up if they are going to continue to ship it that way however.Assembly was fairly easy and straight forward, though at the end when you mate the top to the rest of the desk, it was very helpful, perhaps even necessary, to have an assistant to get it all lined up.Once assembled it very sturdy, and looks great.
