I purchased these because the price was cheap compared to other golden age comic top loaders. I contacted the seller and they did inform me that the PVC in these is archival safe and actually made in the same factory where they make the BCW top loaders. They fit my golden and silver age comic books. They are fairly thin, sort of floppy not super rigid so if you are looking for something hard these are not it. What they do is protect against dings and dents that would normally hurt a comic, but they wont protect against any major bending. You would have to get a slab for that.
